The neighborhood called
HASSIR-ABAD
APRIL 30, 2019
Mr. Hasan Hosseinpour Tabrizi, who was born in Baku, the capital city of Azerbaijan, the former Soviet Republic in the south Caucasus.
He was an outstanding and industrious Azerbaijani worker in Tehran, Iran.
Hosseinpour Tabrizi was politically a left-wing activist.
He was a communist.
His political song "Hassir-Abad" was named HASIR ABAD", the name of the neighborhood known for its impoverished and illiterate people.
The people who lived in the HASSIR-ABAD" of Tehran were mostly in a state of the extreme poverty within this small neighborhood in southern part of Tehran near the railway station.
The future of these people destined to die from poverty, prostitution and diseases on the streets.
When we accept that prostitution and poverty are interlinked, then we accept why prostitution became an institutionalized form of the sex industry in the "HASSIR-ABAD" neighbourhood.
Of course it was a practice of sexual relationship of the impoverished women who were selling their bodies for money.
The human sex trafficking of women in the Hassir Abad was accepted as a normal thing by some authorities in Iran.
They didn't care why the crime rates of rape, violence and homicide became high among these poor people and those who were the sex workers in this neighbourhood.
As mentioned Mr. Hasan Hosseinpour Tabrizi was born in Baku, in the capital of Azerbaijan, the former Soviet Republic in the south Caucasus.
He and his family decided to immigrate to Iran.
Mr. Hosseinpour Tabrizi luckily got a job in the Railway Sector [in the Ministry of Roads and Transportation in Iran].
After the military coup by CIA and Intelligent Service of the Great Britain in 1953, Mr. Hossein Pour left Iran for the purpose of education.
He was arrested in the Lebanon, Beirut and immediately he was extradited to the authorities of the Shah's regime in Iran.
About the "Hassir Abad" neigubourhood in the southern part of Tehran:
The people who lived in the HASSIR-ABAD" of Tehran were mostly in a state of misery and the extreme poverty.
Within this small neighborhood in the southern part of Tehran near the railway station, there was no real life; it was only surviving or dying!
This neighborhood Hassir-Abad was near the Meydan-e- Rahahan (Railway Station).
Hassir Abad was not far away from the "GHOMROAK- Square", in the southern part of the Tehran-( میدان راه آهن (ضلع غربی میدان - , where the official brothel of Tehran was located.
Mr. Hosseinpour Tabrizi was atrested and imprisoned
In 1957 Mr. Hosseinpour was released from the prison.
Then he found a job in the sector of the metal industries and then he was elected as the head of the administration in this field.
He believed: "The extremely scarce of the real opportunities for these women in the "Hassir Abad" of Tehran who were mostly from the other provinces and cities in Iran."
They were mostly deprived from an education.
Their misery was related to a multi-layered issues such as the cultural, political and of course the socio-economic subject matters.
The authorities of the judiciary system in the Islamic Revolution ordered to arrest this Azerbaijani political activist and artist in 1983.
On Sunday February 6, 1983, Mr. Hossein-Pour Tabrizi, the Azerbsijani political activist and artist was arrested and immediately was imprisoned.
On Saturday May 21, 1983 Hossein Pour Tabrizi lost his life in the prision for the clear reasons.
The Azerbaijani political activist and artist Mr. Hossein Pour Tabrizi died in the prison while he was only 58 years old.
He died in the prison under very severe physical and psychological pressures while his small daughter was waiting for her father at home.
